Hola, I am Karen Maling Cowles and I wish you the warmest of welcomes to Above Board in Spain. I created this team to help individuals, couples and families thrive in the beautiful and welcoming country that is Spain which I have called home for 35 years. I began my journey within the lovely Spanish village of Benitatxel on the Costa Blanca where we arrived from the UK with our young children. We now live in the lovely hills of Benidorm. Like you, I was terrified, yet excited upon arrival. There were times I felt being in a new country with a new language was very difficult. This inspired me to spend the next 20 years helping other people from all countries settle and feel safe in Spain, whilst helping them also respond to the uncertain emergencies that life throws at us.

I ensure that my team specialize in ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. If you are near our offices in Benidorm, pop in for a cold drink or a coffee and tell us what's on your mind.
